      In a rapidly changing world full of misinformation, science communication can help empower people to make healthy and sustainable choices for themselves and their communities. Kamara uses storytelling across channels including social media, articles, and website copy to translate cutting-edge science for the public. Tamara is currently a Marketing and Public Relations fellow at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. She is a Cornell University graduate, majoring in Biology and Society and minoring in Science Communication and Public Engagement. Her work experience includes communications internships for the Mass General Research Institute, Environmental Defense Fund, and Shoals Marine Lab. She reported and wrote over 200 articles for outlets including Rewire, The Cornell Daily Sun, The Ithaca Voice, and The Poynter Institute.
